Testimony of the Bride

Testimony of the Bride

Rev 21:9-10

We see the Bride as a governmental entity that brings heaven to earth.  The Bride’s voice gives God the legal right to invade earth.

1 Kings 1:28-31 - David made a judgement and rendered a verdict on the basis of an appeal from his bride.  This shows the earthly function of the heavenly realm.

God is Doing a New Thing

Isaiah 43:18-20 (19 Lo, I am doing a new thing, now it springeth up, Do ye not know it? Yea, I put in a wilderness a way, In a desolate place — floods.) YLT

This shows what God will do for His people.

The Government of God over Cities

Jerusalem speaks of the government of God.  It is the seat from which God governs earth. Jer 3:17  This is why there is so much dispute of earthly Jerusalem. Ezra 4:16.  We need to get heavenly Jerusalem out of heaven and over the cities of the earth.

The Beauty of the Bride in our Cities

Rev 21:2.  The beauty of the bride will determine what our cities will look like.  As the bride wins judgements, cities will be transformed to her atmosphere.  Rev 21:3.  Earthly cities can become dwelling places of God

Healing Our Cities

Rev 21:4 - What happens when heaven invades earth? healing.  Our cities can become places of healing.

2 Kings 2:19-22 What three things did Elisha do?

  1. a new bowl - He was the new bowl, did not tear down old but set up new
  2. placed salt in the bowl, we are the salt
  3. went to the source

When we establish legal precedents we can change cities.
