Testimony of the Blood

The Testimony of the Blood

How does a judge decide on a verdict?

He listens to testimony and makes his decision totally on the law and the testimony given.

What do you think is the most powerful voice and testimony in the courts of heaven?

The blood of Jesus.

Hebrews 12:24 tells us that the blood of Jesus is one of the nine voices that has power in the courts of heaven.

Rev 12:10-11 - And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

What overcame the accuser of the brethren?

The blood of the lamb, Jesus

The blood was for the redemption of the whole earth, not just us.  Nations will be redeemed because of the blood of Jesus.  It is the blood of Jesus that gets Kingdom verdicts from the throne of God

Blood Has a Voice

Gen 4:8) And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9) And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10) And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 11) And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12) When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

A sentence and judgement was rendered against Cain because of the voice of the blood of Abel.

What happened when the priest offered a blood sacrifice behind the veil?

The blood of the sacrifice gave testimony that allowed God to be merciful for another year.  The blood of Jesus gives God the legal right to forgive sins forever.  This is why we need to continually cleanse our bloodline.

What blood has the greatest voice in heaven?

All blood has a voice and the blood of Jesus has the greatest voice in the courts of heaven.  His sacrificial blood legally secured nations back to the rule of God.  Isaiah 49:6 says that His sacrifice demanded that all nations be redeemed.  The same passion in His blood must be carried by us.  The Moravians are an example of this passion.

The Blood of the Martyrs

In Rev 6:9-11 the word for avenge has a root that means to carry out justice.  They gave up their blood so nations could be redeemed and now they want their blood to have justice carried out to complete what they had started.

Rev. 12:11 - They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness.  They weren’t in love with themselves; they were willing to die for Christ. (The Message)

The accuser has no power over those who love Christ more than their lives.  By Hebrews 11:1-2, the elders obtained a good testimony by laying down their lives.  When they laid down their lives, their blood had a voice in the courts of heaven.  It is crying out for a completion of what it was trying to accomplish.

Why are nations not being won?

Nations are not being won because principalities and powers have a legal right through the sins of the generations.  (examples)  This legal right is removed when we confess the sins of our fathers because they are cleansed by the blood of Jesus.  Once the legal right is annulled we can rebuke them and they must flee.
